The fresh approach to Rural Insurance - Rural Affinity

Welcome to the second edition of Rural Affinity’s newsletter.  We would like to thank everyone who provided positive feedback on the first edition of the newsletter.  In this edition, you will find articles on The Australian Business Roundtable for Disaster Resilience and Safer Communities. We will also provide an update on seasonal conditions and commodity prices.  This edition’s staff profile is for Vidette Moore, who heads up Rural Affinity’s administration team.

The winter crop harvest is now well underway and the prospects for overall crop production remain positive, despite variable growing conditions over winter.  Production is forecast to increase in Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia but fall in Queensland and New South Wales.  To date, we are not aware of any significant hail events.

Rural Affinity has also joined Facebook. Starting in January, we will be offering a prize for the best photo’s posted on the site. Please “Like” us by clicking the attached link.

We hope you find the second edition of Rural Affinity’s newsletter interesting.  Please feel free to provide us with any feedback or suggestions for future articles.

We wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and look forward to working with you in the New Year.
