The fresh approach to Rural Insurance - Rural Affinity

Market Commentary

The outlook for grain prices remains positive, helped by the low Australian dollar. There is a high degree of speculation surrounding wheat imports into China with the prospect that imports will be greater than anticipated.

Canola prices remain above average for season 2013. Favourable June/July weather in Canada, the world’s largest conola producer, may however place downward pressure on the market.

The outlook for Pulse crops remains positive. Faba Beans and Field Peas maintain high prices due to low stocks worldwide. Chickpeas and Lupins remain steady.
